Middle East Region Training Opportunity
Inspector General Senior Course
29-30 September 2018
Chesterfield County Airport,
Virginia Wing Headquarters

Officers and NCOs who want to attend the Inspector General Senior Course (IGSC) must electronically submit a CAPF 17, through their Commanders to Col. Ray Harris, at rharris@cap.gov  NLT 15 September 2018.   Wing and squadron commanders are encouraged to attend the IGSC.  Applications after September 15th will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Members must complete the online Investigation Officer  and Introduction to Inspections prior to attending the IGSC.   Completing the old IG Basic Course does not fulfill this requirement.  Members will arrive at the Virginia Wing Headquarters NLT 0700 Saturday 29 September 2018.  This is the course start time.  All members are required to complete the minimum required class hours to be credited with course completion.  Participants will be required to complete homework assignments while attending the class and a laptop is highly recommended for each member.  Wing IGs are encouraged to attend all or part of the IGSC.  (This will serve as your 2018 annual refresher).  This course is required for all IGAs.

The course is a standalone course and billeting and meals will be at the member’s expense.  Hotel accommodations will be forwarded at a later date.  Lunch on 29 and 30 September will be provided by the Region IG Staff.

Once your CAPF 17 is received, additional information such as directions and course schedule will be sent to members who are interested in this training opportunity.  Even if you have already taken the course – it is a good idea to take it again as forms and regulations have changed and it is a good refresher.
We are currently working to get discount room rates at one of the local hotels.
